:)Have had absolutely outstanding fishing in the Rapp., Hazel, Thornton, and Covington rivers over the past three weeks- caught one four-pounder, one over five pounds, and several above fourteen inches. Without knowing this for sure, my impression is that all the fish I caught last year survived and I'm catching them again, one year older and bigger. Almost all the fish have been caught using black and olive strymphs, Shenck's White streamer, Murray's lead-eye helgrammite, all size 4, and a Clouser crayfish, size 8. The bulk of the fish have been caught fishing down and across riffles and upstream dead-drift, plus a few in the tails of pools at dusk.
